Bio

I have a degree in Brazilian Portuguese (mother tongue) and Literature, a Master's degree and an incomplete PhD in Brazilian Literature, with many literary articles in journals and proceedings. 

Before becoming a professional translator from English, Spanish and French into Brazilian Portuguese in 2020 (mainly in the academic, medical, technical and legal fields), I was a teacher of Portuguese and literature in high schools and colleges for 9 years, and of English as a second language for 3 years. I was also on the editorial board of two journals on literature for 2 years.

I've also been proofreading academic texts in Portuguese since 2006 and occasionally transcribing recordings in Portuguese since 2015.
