I wouldn't go with dimensioning. That is fine for diagrams in Visio, but not for hardware. You mentioned "specifications" earlier. That would certainly work for the server example. ("Sizing" is used, but perhaps in a more informal context.)

Hmm... Hmm... sizing? You sure about that? B/c when I take a look at the subsequent tables it is talking not just about size (e.g. of hard drive capacity) but also processor speed, memory requirements, etc. Also when I take a look at Microsoft's Terminology database (an excellent resource by the way, http://www.microsoft.com/language/en/us/search.mspx?sString=... sizing is not one of the terms that comes up... but it is talking specifically about Visio...

Thanks for the additional context. Honestly, it seems like the writer is being overly fancy with word choice, because something as simple as "amount" would work fine for the "Amount of RAM", "amount of memory", and "Amount of Resources". In the first example, you may be better off with "WSS 3.0 Server Sizing".
