My dilemma here is that (1) my client is not reachable today, (2) I have to deliver this translation to the target reader within a couple of hours, and (3) I'm not sure whether "funciones" means "manager's role" -which is probably the case, as there is a monthly performance bond involved- or "employee duties" -which might apply, because the company is a large multinational.
Can anybody suggest a safe way out?

BTW, monthly doesn't work where you have it... I would stick it at the end of the sentence (first choice) or (second choice) after determine.
